The bridal makeup experience starts with a trial and this can take place anytime from 6 months before your wedding. On the day of your trial I like to spend sometime getting to know you, getting to know what you like and what you would like to achieve rather than me telling you what you should wear and how you should wear it, though I'm happy to give suggestions and guidence.
Its my job to enhance your features and bring out your natural beauty and radiance with makeup, not mask it. You'll want your look to be timeless and look beautiful in photographs but you will still want to look like you.
We will take some time to talk about your day, your dress etc and if you wanted to incorporate a particular theme or colour into your makeup and if so, we talk about how best to do this. It's important to me that on the day you feel calm and confident about how you are going to look and that's why a trial for brides is essential.
Your trial will usually last between 2-3 hours and your end look will be recorded and photographed to give you peace of mind that this can be created like for like on the day. We will then discuss timings to incorporate other bridal party members that may want their makeup applied too.
On the day of your wedding I arrive with you at a pre-arranged time and stay with you until you leave for the ceremony, we recreate your wedding look and do touch ups before you leave.
I charge an hourly rate if you'd like me to stay through to your reception, you may want a change of look for the evening or have an outfit change and would like a different look to go with this. Please contact me for quotation.
Weddings abroad are becoming increasingly more popular, if you are getting married abroad it may be worth having a makeup lesson or book your artist to travel abroad to do your makeup. Please contact me for quotation.
